Calvary Church - New Affordable Family Homes
Trellis, in partnership with Calvary Lutheran Church, proposes new affordable family housing one block from George Floyd Square. Trellis will convert the classroom building into apartments, build new three-story apartment units in the parking lot and transform the sanctuary building into common amenities for the apartment residents and gathering spaces for Calvary Church and neighborhood groups. There will be approximately 45 units - rental apartments primarily for families, a mix of one, two, three and four bedrooms, and more than 70% of the units affordable to households up to 30% area median income (AMI). We will update this page when more information becomes available.
The plan is to secure capital funding in 2021 and work towards beginning construction in spring 2022.
